Fee Concession Guidelines

The Fee Concessions Committee of the college, constituted by the Principal, will take care of all requests for subsidies, concessions or waivers in fees, for all candidates other than those which are covered under the following Government Schemes listed below:

Scholarships

  • M.P. Government scholarships are given specifically to students of M.P. who belong to SC, ST or backward communities and minorities. The Tribal Welfare department announces these scholarships.
  • Scholarships from other states given to SC, ST and OBC candidates.
  • Gaon ki Beti Yojna encourages meritorious girl students; the government ofP. and Department of Higher Education have instituted this scholarship.
  • Vikramaditya scholarship for boys, as per rules applicable.
  • Mukhyamantri Medhavi Chatra Yojana (MP State Scholarship)
  • The college management / BSSS Alumni Forum also gives fee concession to the economically weak students for their tuition fee besides DB scholarship for 10 students from Economically Weaker Section.

Guidelines for Fee Concessions / Waivers

The Fee Concessions Committee of the college, constituted by the Principal, will take care of all requests for concessions or waivers in fees, for all candidates other than those who are covered under the Government Schemes above:

The candidates must submit the fee concession form through their MIS account with relevant documents on or before 30th September 2024. Students of Honours / BBA streams and students with ATKT / Failed are not entitled to avail freeship.

The Committee will meet once a year or for need based assessment to review the cases of applicants and make suitable recommendations to the Principal regarding whether the applicant deserves the concessions and if so, how much concession should be given. The percentage of concession may vary based on the recommendations made by the committee and may not be given in all consecutive years.

The Principal will take the final decision based on the recommendations of the designated Committee, as well as the allocation of resources for the purpose. The Principal’s decision will be final in all such matters.

Checklist for the documents to be enclosed along with the application form:

  1. Marksheet of the previous year
  2. Address Proof
  3. Copy of Income Tax Return/ land details/ annual estimated income/ salary certificate from the organization/ BPL Card (whichever is applicable)
  4. Absence of income of the parents due to illness (Medical Certificate along with case detail)
  5. Minority Certificate
  6. PH Certificate (Differently Abled / Physically Handicapped)
  7. Extra-Curricular activities, if any (attach proof)
  8. If any Grant/ Concession/Scholarship received (attach certificate)
  9. Any other reason why they wish to avail the subsidy
