
Dr. Sr. Leema Jacob, MSMI, a member of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate (MSMI), Pavanatma Province, Wardha, Maharashtra, is a clinical psychologist, educator, and researcher with expertise in adolescent mental health, neuroscience, health psychology, and cognitive neuropsychology. She holds a B.Sc. in Psychology, an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, a B.Ed. in Sociology, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Christ University, Bengaluru.
Dr. Sr. Leema developed and validated the innovative Adolescent Social Cognitive Skills Training (A-SCST) program to promote the mental well-being and resilience of late adolescents, for which she holds a registered patent. She has published several SCOPUS-indexed research articles, contributed to peer-reviewed book chapters, and received the Best Paper Award at an international conference on positive psychology for her research on caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia in India. Her work reflects a strong commitment to advancing psychological research, education, and clinical practice.
