The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) successfully hosted an Expert Talk on "Skills for Future Leaders: Bridging the Gap Between Education and Innovation" as a part of the National Science Day 2025 celebration. The event, organized by the Science Club under the Department of Science, aimed to inspire young minds towards global leadership in science and technology, aligning with the theme "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat." The session featured Dr. Purnima Swarup Khare, Director, School of Nanotechnology, RGPV Bhopal, as the keynote speaker. The lecture attracted a large audience comprising students, faculty members, and aspiring innovators eager to explore the variable dimensions of science, education, and leadership. Dr. Khare encouraged students to actively engage in research, embrace technological advancements, and develop leadership qualities to contribute effectively to India's vision of becoming a global powerhouse in science and innovation.
The event, catalyzed by National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Bhopal, successfully reinforced the importance of equipping future leaders with the necessary skills to drive scientific and technological progress.
