BSSS Incubation Centre, established on 30th August 2019, celebrated its 4th Foundation Day on 31st August 2023 in Seminar Hall, Main Building. A day which was the culmination of the eleven-day celebration of World Entrepreneurship Day which started on 21st August 2023. An eleven days long exhibition was organized in the college campus for the young start-ups along with some competitive activities such as Quiz competition, Essay writing competition and Debate competition. All these competitions were based on Entrepreneurship and Start-up ecosystem in India. The debate competition was organized on 31st August itself for which Dr. Namrata (Asst. Prof., Dept of Humanities and Social Sciences, MANIT) and Ms. Jennifer Fernandez (Controller of Examination, BSSS) were invited as judges. Dr. Namrata was also the judge for the essay writing competition along with an internal judge Mr. Jibin Thomas, Librarian BSSS.
The celebration started with an addressal by Dr. Arti Mudaliar who has taken over as the Nodal Officer of BSSS Incubation Centre in this academic year and she presented the achievement of last four years along with Mr. Arun Panicker and also the future planned activities of BSSS Incubation Centre. Dr. Fr. John P.J. addressed the college on the occasion by praising the effort of the past and present council in the success of BSSS Incubation Centre.
The winners of all the three competitions were awarded by the dignitaries present for the celebration.
