On the occasion of World Environment Day, a tree plantation campaign was organized by the National Service Scheme unit of Bhopal School of Social Sciences from 3 June 2024 to 5 June 2024.
The objective of this activity was to convey the message of the important role of trees in the environment, to bring greenery on the earth and to spread awareness.
In this activity, the volunteers planted trees in their respective homes and parks, in which a total of 30 different types of shady, medicinal, fruit and flowering plants were planted.
A total of 25 volunteers (12 girl students and 13 boy students) participated in this activity. The successful organization of the program was completed under the guidance of Program Officer Dr. D.B. Singh (Male Unit) and Dr. Naina Singh (Female Unit).
