On the occasion of Guru Purnima, a grand Guru Purnima Utsav was organized at Pushpa Girls Hostel and BSSS, in which special discussions were held on the new education policy and Guru tradition and life values. Guru Vandana was performed after lighting the lamp in the programme. Principal Dr. Father John PJ gave his statement in honor of Guru Jan. BSSS Dean Academic Father Jomi in his address on Guru Purnima Expressed his gratitude towards the teachers on the auspicious occasion of and expressed his views on the values ​​of life along with the new education policy. After that the senior teachers were honored. Former college professor Mr. Thomas, senior professor Dr. Vinay Mishra, Dr. Ashish Dilraj, Dr. Binoy Erical and Prof. Ranjit Kaur were honored with shawl, quince and flower garland. After that a cultural program was organised. In which classical dance was organized on Guru Vandana. A wonderful program of songs and music was presented by the artists of Rhythm Radio. Professor Thomas explained the duties of an ideal Guru and explained the beautiful nature of culture. Senior Professor Vinay Mishra spoke in detail on Guru-Shishya tradition along with life values. Formal vote of thanks was given by Dr. Anuradha Goswami, Staff Secretary of the college and the program concluded with the national anthem.
