Bhopal School of Social Sciences’ National Service Scheme (NSS) unit successfully concluded its seven-day special camp with a dignified closing ceremony. The day began with a morning rally, PT, and yoga session, followed by breakfast.
At 10:30 a.m., an intellectual session was organized with Dr. Ashok Kumar Shreethi, Regional Director, Regional Directorate Madhya Pradesh–Chhattisgarh, and Dr. Rajkumar Verma, Youth Officer, Government of India, as chief guests. Both speakers motivated the volunteers towards service, leadership, and nation-building. Volunteers also participated in the MY Bharat Budget Quiz conducted on the MY Bharat portal. Preparations were then made for the valedictory ceremony, including campus cleanliness and decoration.
The closing ceremony was held in the evening in the presence of Principal Dr. Fr. John P. J. Chief guests included Dr. Anant Kumar Saxena, Program Coordinator, NSS Cell, Barkatullah University; Rahul Singh Parihar, ITI Trainer; Mukta Ekai BEO; and Prof. Akshay Tiwari, Government College Kurwai, District Vidisha.
The program began with lamp lighting and floral tribute before the portrait of Swami Vivekananda, followed by the NSS song, presentation of the camp report, and cultural performances representing various states. Volunteers who gave outstanding performances were honored with B and C certificates and participation certificates. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
