The Bhopal School of Social Sciences, Department of Psychology, organised a Faculty Enrichment Programme titled "Managing Happiness: Arts of Learning and Wellbeing" on Teachers' Day. The programme was jointly organised by Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, and BSSS, Bhopal.
The programme was graced by Principal Dr. Father John P.J. and Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Leema Jacob, whose presence added significance to the celebration. Their participation reflected the institution's commitment to faculty development, wellbeing, and educational excellence.
The distinguished expert speaker, Professor Prabhat Pankaj, an eminent educator, economist, learning and happiness researcher, practitioner, and TEDx speaker, conducted two insightful sessions. With nearly three decades of experience in education, he brought together his expertise in happiness, wellbeing, and brain-based learning. He is also the author of Actions for Happiness in Academics (AHA!).
The sessions, "Managing Happiness" and "How Learning Works – Exploring Brain-based Principles of Learning," offered practical insights into wellbeing, stress management, neuroscience, and effective teaching practices.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a meaningful Teachers' Day celebration focused on happiness, learning, and professional enrichment.
