Two days of Training with the MP Police mark the start of the Internship for BSSS Students

The Bhopal School of Social Sciences and The Madhya Pradesh Police with reference to the MOU of Student Internship Program conducted a Two Day Crash Training for the students of the College. These students, who were attendees of the orientation willingly registered for the Internship Programme offered by Madhya Pradesh Police in various domains. The Student Crowd in The Bhopal School of Social Sciences witnessed notable personnel from the Police Department visiting the campus and imparting knowledge based on their expertise. Two days of training comprised of intense discussion and a gigantic pool of information regarding the field of working with public administrators. The first day of the training comprised of discussions based on laws and policies wherein the second day marked more specific information regarding the work to be done. On the same day, Mr. Vineet Kapoor, DCP, Headquarters divided the students into clusters and allotted them the stations from where they were supposed to carry out their deliverables for this internship. Rev Dr. Fr. John PJ, Principal of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences expressed his gratefulness and contentment for the opportunity provided to the students. He is of the opinion that the students of the college will outshine the training and be extremely instrumental in the Internship. He further added that this opportunity will bring out the best among the student community and make them more responsible and responsive. Mr. Vineet Kapoor, DCP, Headquarter, Madhya Pradesh Police expressed his exhilaration witnessing the enthusiasm among the students. He expressed his elation and was happy to see so many zealous and avid young minds being a part of this program. Madam Manju Mehta, Coordinator of this Program and Assistant Professor, at the Department of Humanities, spoke about the dedication and passion that the students have for this opportunity. Madam expressed her confidence in the students of the College and was extremely overwhelmed by the responses received. Miss Anurupa Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work also spoke about the appreciative crowd associated with this program. She stressed on such opportunities are a regular affair for the students as it is supremely advantageous for students’ professional development and progress. Overall, these two days of training enlightened 200 young minds thus ensuring youth-led community betterment and enhanced social functioning.
