New Academic Session Commences at BSSS
The new academic session at the Bhopal School of Social Sciences began with the Central Level Orientation Program- Diksharambh 2022. The first-year students, along with their parents, attended this orientation programme. After the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Dr Binoy Erikal gave in-depth information about the academic activities of the college. He explained the semester and credit system under the National Education Policy. Dr Shibani Basu delineated the essential details of the examination system and the evaluation process followed by the college. Dr Sheena Thomas explained the code of conduct and motivated all the students of the BSSS to maintain discipline in the college.
Principal Dr Fr. John PJ welcomed more than 1600 new students and emphasised that BSSS is synonymous with discipline. He accentuated that BSSS believes in quality and develops a disciplined personality by imparting knowledge and character-building education. Later Dr Fr. John PJ had an open discussion with the parents where he answered their questions.
The central level orientation was followed by departmental level orientation where the students interacted with the HoDs of their respective departments. The vibrant ambience of the college impressed the freshers as they were excited to see the clean green campus, rhythm studio and swimming pool.
