BSSS HOLDS BLOOD DONATION CAMP

BSSS - The NSS unit of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences in collaboration with Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre (BMHRC) organized a blood donation camp on 24th September 2022. The camp got enthusiastic contribution from BSSS's various students club in which Commerce Club, Management Club & Humanities Club marked their contribution in the charitable giving. The NSS volunteers themselves had become donors; they canvassed exhaustively to bring donors to the venue. There were 65 units of blood mobilized during the camp. The noble cause was inaugurated by the Principal, BSSS Dr. Father John P.J. & Vice Principal, Sr. Sonia Kurian with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
To encourage and motivate their valour the unit also organised Slogan writing and poster making competition under the theme on Raktdaan Mshadaan, ("रक्तदान महादान") in which 3 Volunteers Farheen Ansari bagged 1st position, Bhavna Pawar nailed 2nd Position & Utkarsha Kalamkar got 3rd Position for Poster Making whereas Chandan Barange, Rishita Mishra and Suhani Chouhan were awarded with certificates and medals.
To watch over the entire process & to collect the blood, a team of doctors were put in charge.
