An Inter-religious Dialogue was organized by the Inter-religious Dialogue Committee on 5th March 2024 from 10am to 12pm in the Main Conference Hall. The aim of the programme was to have exceptional religious discourse to foster mutual understanding, respect, and tolerance between people of different religious faiths by creating a space for open conversation and learning about each other's beliefs and practices, ultimately contributing to a more peaceful and harmonious society. Principal Dr Fr John PJ in his welcome address expressed his happiness on conducting a meaningful programme which encourages love, peace, humanity, brotherhood and respect for all religions. The speakers for the session were Fr. Alfred D’Souza PRO of Archdiocese of Bhopal, Prof. Ashok Kumar Nema from Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College, Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Kaur Principal of Career College and Mufti Ali Qadar Hussaini-Nayaab Qazi Sheher Bhopal.
All the speakers emphasised upon the fact to live as a human, creating no discrimination between any one or any religion, caste, creed or gender. Today we lack humanity, love, peace and endurance amongst ourselves believing in what people say causing rifts and differences amongst ourselves. The speakers stressed on the facts that we should educate ourselves so that love, respect, mutual understanding is reflected in our behaviour. Loving one another as thyself is most important as we all belong to one supreme power.
