In a world where youth are increasingly becoming agents of change, Anil Sharma Bhusal stands tall as an inspiring example of how commitment to community service can open doors to national and international platforms.
Anil, a student of The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Bhopal, and an active volunteer of the National Service Scheme (NSS), recently represented NSS India at the prestigious BRICS Youth Event held in Indore on May 20–21, 2026.
The BRICS Youth Event brought together young leaders, change-makers and innovators from across the BRICS nations to deliberate on global challenges and the role of youth in building a sustainable and inclusive future.
His journey of service began with small yet impactful steps—participating in cleanliness drives, tree plantation, health camps, blood donation camps and water awareness campaigns. Over the years, he has been consistently involved in various NSS activities organized at college, district and state levels.
He is also an active contributor to My Bharat initiatives under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, working towards youth empowerment and nation building.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE
Anil has participated in National Integration Camp (NIC) at LNIPE, Gwalior and State Leadership Camp at Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh, where he interacted with youth from different parts of the country and developed his leadership and teamwork skills.
A JOURNEY ROOTED IN SERVICE
From leading Swachhata Abhiyan drives in slums and rural areas to motivating citizens through voter awareness campaigns, Anil has been consistent in his mission to create a better society.
He has also contributed to blood donation camps, health and hygiene initiatives, and environmental sustainability programmes.
His dedication and leadership have earned him several accolades and recognitions. He was invited as a Special Guest for the Republic Day Parade 2025 at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, an honour that recognized his contribution to social service and nation building.
